How SM Stratagem Operates with SM-OPS
SM Stratagem (internal).

SM-OPS is the studio's own internal command centre, an authenticated admin suite that lives in this repository at /admin. The team uses it to manage leads, contacts, deals, projects, tasks, invoices, outreach and the org planner, which makes the product itself a working case study of how the studio thinks about operating software.

What the client walked in with

Problem

A young studio has to run sales, delivery, finance and hiring at the same time, and the default answer is a stack of spreadsheets that drift out of sync within a week. Knowledge lives in chat threads, decision history disappears, and the founders end up acting as the integration layer between tools that were never designed to talk to each other.

What SM Stratagem actually shipped

Delivered

We built SM-OPS as the studio's internal command centre. It lives at /admin, inside the same repository as this website, and runs on a single data layer so the planner works the same way in production and on every preview. It models the company as a charted organisation in the Company Brain, tracks leads and contacts through a real pipeline, manages projects and tasks end-to-end, generates invoices with VAT, sends outreach, and records every state change in an audit log. The dashboard pulls KPIs from the same data the work is recorded against.

Outcome

Day-to-day operations now run inside one app on one database. The same record the team uses to do the work is the record leadership uses to make decisions, and the product gets dogfooded every day so the studio ships a working example alongside the thesis.
